About NCET 4 year integrated Programme

The National Testing Agency (NTA) invites applications for the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) 2024. This entrance exam is your gateway to the prestigious  4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) offered by  IITs, NITs, RIEs, and Government Colleges across India.
The ITEP[integrated teacher education programme] is a unique program that provides a dual specialization. You will earn a  Bachelor's degree in Education with a focus on a specific school stage (e.g., primary, secondary) and a  Bachelor's degree in a chosen discipline (e.g., Mathematics, History).

Key Highlights of NCET 2024


Mode of exam: Computer Based Test (CBT)
Medium of Exam: English, Hindi, and 11 regional languages
Date of Exam: June 12, 2024 (Wednesday)
Application Period: April 13 to April 30, 2024 (up to 11:30 PM)Languages: Offered in 13 languages (Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu)
Subjects:
Two Language papers (chosen from 38 languages)
Three Domain-Specific Subjects (chosen from 26 subjects based on your desired program)
Mandatory General Test covering GK, Current Affairs, and Reasoning Abilities
Mandatory Teaching Aptitude Test
Multiple Choice Questions: All sections will have objective type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).


Who can Apply?


Students who have passed Class 12  are appearing for it in 2024 are eligible to apply. YOU CAN VISIT  official website  NTA websites: https://nta.ac.in/ & NCET Website: https://ncet.samarth.ac.in/Choice: Candidates can choose any three Domain Specific Subjects (out of 26 offered) as per their desired University program.

Subjects Offered in NCET 2024

Languages: You can choose any two languages from a wide range of 38 Indian languages.
Domain-Specific Subjects: Choose three subjects relevant to your desired specialization from the 26 offered subjects.
General Test: This mandatory section assesses your general knowledge, current affairs, and logical reasoning skills.
Teaching Aptitude: This mandatory section evaluates your potential for a successful teaching career.
